The Château du Plessis is a comfortable and elegant family home set in 5 hectares of parkland, 8 km north of Tours, 1 km from the

Chateau built in 18th & 19th centuries. It is built from tuffa and stones covered by natural lime. The roof is made with tiles from Angers.

Its construction dates from 1705 when Joseph Aubry, Marquis of Castelnau, decided to live at le Plessis and became Lord of le Plessis.

Eugène O'Neill, American play- wright & Nobel prize winner lived at le Plessis from 1929 to 1931.

The chateau was the also home to the Bulgarian Embassy during the 2nd World War.
